
Sarah Brightman
Norma Desmond

Sarah Brightman, the world’s best-selling Soprano and UNESCO Artist for Peace Ambassador, has amassed sales of more than 30 million, receiving awards in over 40 countries and garnering over 1 billion streams worldwide. She originated the role of Christine Daaé in the world-renowned The Phantom of the Opera on both West End and Broadway stages and has performed at such prestigious events as the Concert for Diana, The Kennedy Center Honors and the Barcelona and Beijing Olympic Games. Sarah’s albums Eden, La Luna, Harem, Symphony and Dreamchaser were each chart-topping Billboard hits and were all accompanied by world tours. Tim Draxl is an actor and singer with a career spanning more than two decades.
Most recently he was seen in the SBS anthology television series Erotic Stories, for which he has received an AACTA Nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama series, and the lead role in ABC’s four-part musical drama In Our Blood, for which he has received both an AACTA Nomination for Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series and TV WEEK Logie Award Nomination for Most Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series.
On stage, Tim was most recently seen in Belvoir’s Into The Woods as ‘Cinderella’s Prince/ Wolf’ and in the role of ‘Steve Healy’ for the first overseas tour of Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill produced by GWB. Other theatre credits include critically acclaimed Only Heaven Knows, Catch Me If You Can and Evie May (all for Hayes Theatre), Torch Song Trilogy (Darlinghurst Theatre Company), Lip Service, Mothers and Sons (Ensemble Theatre), Freeway – The Chet Baker Journey (Sydney Opera House, Melbourne Festival, Brisbane Festival), Nailed (Griffin Theatre Company), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Belvoir), The Sound Of Music (GFO) and She Loves Me (The Production Company).

Michael had the honour of performing for Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II at Royal Command performances of The Phantom of the Opera and Les Misérables.
Whilst living in London, he had the incredible opportunity to sing with Freddie Mercury and Cliff Richard, and performed in concerts in Rome, Paris, Edinburgh, Beirut and Cyprus. In Australia he has performed as a guest artist with The Australian Pops Orchestra, toured his own solo shows – Feelin’ Good and Michael Cormick Sings The Songs Of Burt Bacharach, and performed in concerts with Rachael Beck, David Hobson and Silvie Paladino. Ashleigh Rubenach

Sydney Theatre Award-winning actress Ashleigh Rubenach most recently played Nancy in the Australian premiere of Groundhog Day (GWB). Growing up on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Ashleigh graduated with a Bachelor of Music Theatre from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). She has starred as Johanna in Sweeney Todd at the Sydney Opera House (Victorian Opera), Milo Davenport in An American in Paris (GWB), Billie Bendix in Nice Work If You Can Get It (MGP/Hayes Theatre Co) and Allison Vernon-Williams in Cry-Baby (LPD/Hayes Theatre Co). Other stage credits include Anything Goes (GFO/OA), The Sound of Music (GFO), My Fair Lady (OA), Funny Girl (SSO) and Muriel’s Wedding (Global Creatures). She also made her screen debut as Lissa in Seven Network’s Home and Away. Ashleigh is a Talent Development Project alumni and a proud member of MEAA Actors Equity.

Jarrod Draper
Artie Green

A proud Wiradjuri man, Jarrod Draper was born in Orange and the first Indigenous graduate from the prestigious music theatre course at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).
Most recently starring as Toulouse Lautrec in the Tony Award winning Moulin Rouge The Musical (Global Creatures), Jarrod was an original Australian Cast member, understudying the lead roles of Christian and Lautrec before being promoted to take over the role of Toulouse Lautrec as the first indigenous artist to play the role anywhere in the world.
Jarrod has been committed to breaking new ground as an indigenous Leading Man of the Australian Music Theatre industry and has also appeared in Stephen Sondheim’s 90th birthday celebration concert Sondheim on Sondheim, When the Rain Stops Falling as Andrew Price (Clovelly Fox Productions), the acclaimed Sydney Opera House production of Rent (LPD), Catch Me if You Can (Hayes Theatre Co) and in the sold-out season of his one-man show with Darlinghurst Theatre Company/People of Cabaret. Jarrod was also a top-six finalist in the inaugural 2020 Artists of Colour Initiative.

Phillip Lowe
Cecil B. DeMille

Phillip’s impressive career began in 1995 after completing his studies at W.A.A.P.A. and include: Come From Away (Nick), Georgy Girl (Keith), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Mary Poppins (Northbrook) , Eurobeat (UK), The Producers (Mr Marks/Kevin), The Sunshine Club (Peter), Showboat (Frank u/s), Cabaret and Crazy For You.
In 2017, Phillip was nominated for a Sydney Theatre Award for his portrayal of Edward Bloom in Big Fish and in 2018 was nominated for a Green Room Award for role of Harry Bright in Mamma Mia.
During the Covid lockdown, Phillip played the role of Tyler Nelson in the world first live streamed musical season of Who’s Your Baghdaddy.
On Television, Phillip has been seen in Crownies, All Saints, Anzac Girls, Australia; The Story Of Us, Blonde, Home and Away and the big screen has seen him in roles in Black and White, The Honourable Wally Norman and Thank God He Met Lizzie.
Phillip’s first love, however, is theatre and he is thrilled to be playing Cecil B. DeMille in this extraordinary production. He is also a proud member of Actors Equity and would like to dedicate his performance to his family – his wife Zoe and furbaby Banjo.

Troy Sussman

Troy has worked for over 35 years as a professional performer and in those years, he has been one of the most prolific artists in the industry, working throughout Australasia and the West End. Most recently he was seen in the VO production of Candide, Theatre credits include Original Australian & recent OA Phantom of the Opera. Billy Bourchier
Ensemble

A graduate of Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Billy was cast as Tony in Opera Australia’s 2024 production of West Side Story on Sydney Harbour. Prior to that he was in Opera Australia / GWB’s tour of Miss Saigon. Other credits include Candide, The Pirates of Penzance, Les Misérables (Australia and International), The Last Five Years and The Book of Mormon. Billy has performed alongside the likes of Jemma Rix, John Foreman and The Queensland Symphony Orchestra. In 2020 he developed and performed in his own cabaret show The Corner of Brisbane & Broadway.
A proud member of Actors Equity, Billy is thrilled to be a part of the Sunset company.

Rachel Cole
Ensemble

Rachel is a Sydney-based performer and proud graduate of Ed5 International. Her most recent work includes Tina: The Tina Turner Musical and the award winning Groundhog Day, by Tim Minchin. Additional credits include WICKED, Matilda the Musical, Billy Elliot, Muriel’s Wedding the Musical, Evita with Tina Arena, La Cage Aux Folles, Promises Promises, and CHESS.
Her Opera Australia credits include La Bohème, La Forza del Destino, The Marriage of Figaro, and Die Tote Stadt.
Rachel has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from The University of Sydney and studied Economics postgraduate. With a decade of experience as an Investment Advisor in Sydney, she runs a popular social media channel, Get Rich with Rach on both Instagram & TikTok.

Peter Ho
Ensemble

Peter graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre, having previously attained his Diploma of Musical Theatre in 2019. Peter’s WAAPA credits include Jake in Side Show, Mr Baumann/ Mack Understudy in Mack & Mabel, Max/Vocal Captain in The Pajama Game, and Dr. Norquist/Ensemble in Bright Star. In 2021, he received WAAPA’s Finley Award for his contribution to “creating a spirit of ensemble”. Most recently, he made his professional stage debut in the ensemble of Moulin Rouge! The Musical, where he also covered and performed as Toulouse-Lautrec. Peter is a proud member of the MEAA. He is entirely grateful to his friends, family and teachers for their ongoing support.

Genevieve Kingsford

A graduate of the London School of Musical Theatre, Genevieve debuted as Johanna in Sweeney Todd (Twickenham Theatre), which won the 2015 What’s on Stage Award for Best Off-West End Musical.
Since returning to Australia, Genevieve’s theatre credits have included Mary Poppins (understudy Mary Poppins and Mrs Banks; Disney and Cameron Mackintosh), Johanna in Sweeney Todd (Life Like Company), Eliza Doolittle in Pygmalion (Australian Shakespeare Company), Phoebe D’Ysquith in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Production Company), Clara in The Light in the Piazza (Life Like Company), La Traviata (Australian International Opera Company) and Fiona in Brigadoon (Production Company) for which she received a Greenroom Awards nomination for Leading Actress in a Musical.
She has also featured in the concerts Shell Proms (Canberra Symphony Orchestra 2019), From Broadway to La Scala (Australian Tour 2019) and Carousel (Princess Theatre 2024). Most recently, Genevieve performed as Hodes at the Sydney Opera House in the Award winning play Yentl (Kadimah Yiddish Theatre).

Leah Lim

With a professional career spanning 16 years, Leah’s credits include, Aladdin (Disney Theatrical Productions), RSC’s Matilda the Musical (Louise Withers&Assoc.), King Kong Live Onstage (Global Creatures) and Kismet (The Production Company).
Career highlights include being cast as Connie Wong, directed by Baayork Lee, creator of the role and Michael Bennett’s assistant, in A Chorus Line with the Australian tour (TML Enterprises) and with a British Company, for a Tel Aviv season. Other highlights involve performing original Jerome Robbins’ choreography in West Side Story (David Atkins Enterprises) and The King & I (GFO/Opera Australia). It was Cameron Mackintosh’s Miss Saigon (Louise Withers&Associates) that launched Leah’s fortunate career.
Since giving birth to her daughter in 2020, Leah has had the pleasure of appearing in Roger’s+Hammerstein’s Cinderella (OA/Crossroads) and Hayes Theatre Co’s Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. She is thrilled to be cast in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s, Sunset Boulevard.

Michael Lindner

Michael most recently featured in the new Australian musical ‘Bearded’ at Theatreworks and ‘Groundhog Day – the musical’ as the Hippie Healer and Jenson. Michael also appeared in ‘Guys & Dolls’ for Antipodes Theatre and ‘Billy Elliot – the musical’. Michael’s 30 year career has included Movement Director and Assistant Director on ‘Mother Courage’ performed at La Mama.
Michael toured Australia in ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ and ‘The 39 Steps’ and as a lead in
Melbourne Workers Theatre’s ‘1975’. Musical theatre highlights include; ‘South Pacific’, ‘Avenue Q’, ‘Mary Poppins’, ‘Priscilla, Queen of the Desert’, ‘The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee’, ‘Grease – the Mega Musical’, ‘Miss Saigon’, ‘Hair’, ‘Scrooge’ and multiple musicals for The Production Company. Garry Ginivan musicals for children include; ‘Possum Magic’, ‘My Grandma Lived in Gooligulch’,
‘Winnie the Pooh’, ‘Pinocchio’ and ‘Peter Rabbit’ touring Australia and Asia. For X Systems he
performed the role of The Fat Controller in several ‘Thomas the Tank Engine’ shows in
Singapore.
Michael has performed and produced shows for Midsumma and the Adelaide Fringe and now
hosts and produces the music theatre podcast ‘And I Know Things Now’; conversations with
industry professionals, sharing vital and inspiring wisdom with newcomers to the profession.

Mary McCorry
Ensemble

Originally from Sydney, Mary McCorry (she/her) relocated to Melbourne after receiving the Nancye Hayes Scholarship in 2019 to study a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). Prior to this, Mary completed a Diploma of Musical Theatre at Brent Street from which she graduated with Honours. During her final year at VCA, Mary performed as Bertha Hunt in ‘The Hello Girls’ (dir. Jason Langley). Mary is the grateful recipient of the 2021 Ron and Margaret Dobell Foundation Music Theatre Award. In 2022, Mary played Linda Twist in the RGM Productions’ ‘Round the Twist’ workshop (dir. Simon Phillips). Mary is thrilled to be making her professional debut with Opera Australia and GWB Entertainment in Sunset Boulevard.

Samantha Morley
Ensemble

Samantha has most recently performed the role of Ghost of Christmas Present in the Australian production of A Christmas Carol for GWB. Other theatre credits include Girl From The North Country (GWB), Billy Elliot (Working Title), The Boy From Oz (Gannon/Fox), Cats (International Touring Company), South Pacific (Seabiscut), Fiddler on the Roof (TML) and Sound of Music (Gordon/Frost).
Television credits include Wentworth, Offspring, Dr. Blake Murder Mysteries, Hopelessly Devoted To You: The Olivia Newton John Story, House Husbands and for film: Now Add Honey, The Three Ages of Sasha, The Decommissioning (short), Stanley (short) and Pinion (short).
A versatile vocalist, Samantha sings regularly with jazz and soul bands throughout Australia with many of the country’s finest musicians. She has worked with Grand Wazoo, B Sharp Big Band as well as The Funky Diva’s, who supported Barry White in his
Australian Concert Tour.
Samantha is a reservist in the Royal Australian Air Force band and has sung all over the world for ceremonial events such as Gallipoli and events in France, Belgium and the Middle East.

Morgan Palmer
Ensemble

Morgan’s love for performing began at a young age from his classical training at the Youth Ballet Company of Western Australia (YBWA). He graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre.
Theatre credits include Elder Harris/Pop Tarts in The Book of Mormon (GFO), Pierre/Babydoll Cover in Moulin Rouge! The Musical (Global Creatures), IQ in Hairspray (Crossroads Live) and We Will Rock You (GFO). Morgan was a finalist for the Rob Guest Endowment in 2017 and is a proud MEAA member.

Caity Plummer
Ensemble

Caity graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre, 2020.
Since graduating, Caity has hit the ground running as Ensemble (u/s Ballet Girls) in Billy Elliot (Matt Ward Entertainment), Betty (u/s Cynthia Weil) in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Matt Ward Entertainment), Colette and Cagelle in La Cage Aux Folles (Showtune Productions) and was the Dance Captain and On-Stage Swing in Bonnie and Clyde (Josh Robson Productions).
Caity has received many Arts awards, all to which she used to train with Ann Reinking and The Verdon Fosse Legacy In New York City, as well as creating, producing, and performing in Caity Plummer ft. Jack Earle’s Big Band at the Jazz Lab in Melbourne.
Caity is proudly represented by Ian White Management.

Tom Sharah
Ensemble

Tom won the prestigious Australian Cabaret Showcase in 2009 before coming to wider national attention as a star finalist on Channel Ten’s I Will Survive. He subsequently toured his one-man shows Que Sera Sharah, It’s Raining Me and That 90’s Show to sell-out theatre and festival seasons all around Australia.
Tom has toured Australia and internationally in musicals such as Muriel’s Wedding, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Shrek, American Psycho, 9 to 5 and The Wedding Singer. He has performed at the Hayes Theatre in The Drowsy Chaperone, Only Heaven Knows, Half Time, Anyone Can Whistle and If/Then. Tom most recently starred opposite Marcia Hines in the Australian tour of Velvet Rewired.

Riley Sutton
Ensemble

Born and raised in Adelaide and a graduate of WAAPA, Riley has most recently performed as ensemble and understudy Sam/Bill/Harry and Father Alex in Mamma Mia! (LWAA), understudy Bobby Darin and ensemble in Dream Lover (GFO), ensemble in Catch Me if You Can (Hayes Theatre), understudy Peter van Leden and ensemble in Madiba the Musical (Prestige Presents), Rapunzel’s Prince and the Steward in Into the Woods (Harvest Rain), understudy Princeton/Rod and ensemble/swing in Avenue Q (Enmore Theatre), Williamson in a staged workshop of Between Worlds (ATYP) and he toured Sydney and Perth as Edward in Worlds Apart (Echelon Productions). Riley has also been one of The Ten Tenors, touring throughout Australia, the United States, Thailand, and Brazil. Riley is proudly represented by Ian White Management.

Regan Barber
Swing

Regan graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre. Notable roles from her time at WAAPA included Lottie in Mack and Mabel, Mae in The Pajama Game and Dance Captain/Ensemble in Bright Star. Most recently she has been the Female Cover for Dog Man The Musical with CDP Theatre Productions. Regan also trained in TV and Film at Screenwise and received a Diploma of Musical Theatre at Brent Street. She is a talented and versatile triple threat performer and is incredibly excited to be joining the cast of Sunset Boulevard as it is her first big commercial debut. She would also love to extend her gratitude to her friends and family for their endless love, support and encouragement!

Campbell Braithwaite
Swing

Tasmanian born and bred, Campbell is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) Music Theatre Course. During his Three Years he played Mike Costa in A Chorus Line (dir. Crispin Taylor), Sam Carmichael in Mamma Mia (dir. Shaun Rennie) and Terry in Merrily We Roll Along (dir. Brent Hill). Campbell most recently appeared as a Swing in the 2023 run of Mamma Mia! Produced by Louise Withers and Associates (dir. Gary Young OAM). Other Credits include Come Play Cabaret (dir. John O’Hara, 2023), The Rocky Horror Show (2021) produced by John X Presents’ as well as Echelon Productions’ Story Quest (2022).

Charlotte Page
Swing / Assistant Dance Captain

Born and raised in Tasmania, Charlotte is a proud 2023 graduate from the Queensland Academy of Excellence in Musical Theatre (QAEMT), formerly the Queensland Conservatorium. Throughout her studies, Charlotte had the pleasure of performing in productions of Grease, Heathers, 42nd Street, and played the leading role of Allison Vernon-Williams in her final year production of Cry Baby the Musical. Charlotte is delighted and honoured to be making her professional debut in Sunset Boulevard.

Nicholas Eaton
Offstage Swing / Dance Captain

Nicholas trained at Brent Street Studios and most recently performed in the smash hit production Tina – The Tina Turner Musical. Prior to that, he appeared in Frozen – The Musical for The Walt Disney Company and toured Australasia in Aladdin and Mary Poppins.
Other theatre credits include Kiss of the Spider Woman for Melbourne Theatre Company, Ghost and Ultimate Broadway; both for GWB Entertainment, The Rocky Horror Show for Gordon Frost Organisation / Ambassador Theatre Group, the role of Quale in South Pacific at Kilworth House Theatre in the UK and Joey–Heart in War Horse.
Nicholas commenced his career appearing in the Cats World Tour playing Alonzo/The Great Rumpus Cat for The Really Useful Company. For The Production Company, Nicholas has performed in Nice Work If You Can Get It, Singin’ In The Rain and The Boyfriend.
As a vocalist, Nicholas has performed for Twisted Broadway, The New Sounds Project at The Butterfly Club and as the lead singer in 80s cover band Stand & Deliver.

John Rex Berry

John Rex Berry is an exciting musical theatre performer who hails from Western Australia. He is a former Irish dancer and rugby player and completed his Diploma of Musical Theatre at Matrix Pro Academy before furthering his training at Brent Street in Sydney. Since moving to the east coast in 2024 John has appeared in West Side Story for Opera Australia, Elf The Musical for Crossroads Live/Sydney Opera House and filmed Rebel Wilson’s musical comedy feature film, The Deb. He will appear in the Australian production of The Book of Mormon later in 2025.
As a young leading man in WA, John has starred as Link Larkin in Hairspray, Chad in All Shook Up and performed in The Wizard of Oz and Fame all at Crown Theatre in Perth for Hama Productions. Other WA credits include Danny Zuko in Grease and Fred Casely in Chicago for Drew Anthony Creative. He also performed as Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid as a featured artist in the tribute to Olivia Newton-John A Night to Remember at the Regal Theatre

Deone has been fortunate enough to perform on some of the world’s great stages, including London’s West End, and Broadway where she was cast in the revival production of A Chorus Line at the Schoenfeld Theatre. Most recently she performed the role of Rhonda Graam in Tina! The Musical. Prior to that she played Tanya in Mamma Mia! and Alison Bechdel in Fun Home for MTC.
