Sarah Brightman, International singing superstar and UNESCO Artist for Peace Ambassador, is the world’s bestselling soprano. She pioneered the classical crossover music movement and is famed for possessing a vocal range of over three octaves. Sarah is the only artist to have simultaneously topped the Billboard dance and classical music charts. Her voice has rung out from theatres, arenas, cathedrals, World Heritage sites and Olympic stadiums, bringing to life some of the world’s most beautiful music. Sarah’s work transcends any specific musical genre, synthesizing many influences and inspirations into a unique sound and vision. In May 2024, Sarah returned to the stage in her first theatrical role in over three decades as Norma Desmond in the lavish Australian production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard. In 2025, the production continued its Asia run to rave reviews in Singapore, China, Taiwan and is getting ready to dazzle Japan in 2026.
Tim Draxl
Joe Gillis
Tim Draxl is an actor and singer with a career spanning more than two decades.
Most recently he was seen in the SBS anthology television series Erotic Stories, for which he has received an AACTA Nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama series, and the lead role in ABC’s four-part musical drama In Our Blood, for which he has received both an AACTA Nomination for Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series and TV WEEK Logie Award Nomination for Most Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series.
On stage, Tim was most recently seen in The Glass Menagerie at Melbourne Theatre Company, The Normal Heart at Sydney Theatre Company and Belvoir’s Into The Woods as ‘Cinderella’s Prince/ Wolf’. Tim also performed the role of ‘Steve Healy’ for the first overseas tour of Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill produced by GWB. Other theatre credits include critically acclaimed Only Heaven Knows, Catch Me If You Can and Evie May (all for Hayes Theatre), Torch Song Trilogy(Darlinghurst Theatre Company), Lip Service, Mothers and Sons (Ensemble Theatre), Freeway – The Chet Baker Journey(Sydney Opera House, Melbourne Festival, Brisbane Festival), Nailed (Griffin Theatre Company), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Belvoir), The Sound Of Music (GFO) and She Loves Me (The Production Company).
Other television credits include anthology series Summer Love and critically acclaimed The Newsreader both for the ABC, hit series A Place to Call Home as series regular Henry Fox (FOXTEL), the Molly Meldrum telemovie Molly, the critically acclaimed series Serangoon Road, Reef Break, Mrs Biggs, Home & Away, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Crownies, Day One, Tangle, Headland, Supernova, Dynasty: The Making of a Guilty Pleasure and The Shark Net.
Tim’s film work includes action film Blacklight alongside Liam Neeson, Guardians of the Tomb, directed by Kimble Rendall, A Few Best Men, Undocumented, Ivory, In My Sleep, Red Canyon, Right Here Right Now, Travelling Light, Swimming Upstream, and Dirty Deeds.
He received his first TV WEEK Logie Award Nomination for Most Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series in 2005 for The Shark Net and an ASTRA Award Nomination (later renamed The AACTA Awards) for Most Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Comedy for Supernova (2006). His one man show Tim Draxl in Concert was nominated for a Helpmann Award for Best Live Music Presentation in 2002 and has received several Sydney Theatre Award nominations for his cabaret and theatre shows winning the award for best cabaret production with Back For Seconds in 2006.
He has released four solo albums. ‘Ordinary Miracles’ and ‘Insongniac’ for Sony Music Australia under the Columbia label, the independently released ‘Tim Draxl Live at the Supper Club’ and ‘My Funny Valentine’ released through Ambition Entertainment/EMI which reached number 1 on the iTunes jazz charts.

Michael Cormick is an internationally renowned singer and actor who has worked extensively in Australia, the United Kingdom and Europe.
Michael’s career in Australia includes: Beauty and the Beast (The Beast) – for which he won an Australian MO Award, Cats (Munkustrap), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (Pharoah), Grease (Kenickie), Sunset Boulevard (Joe Gillis), End of The Rainbow (Mickey Deans), The Rocky Horror Show (Eddie/Dr. Scott), Mamma Mia! Michael has featured at many special events such as The Melbourne Cup, the Australian Football League Grand Final, the Australian Rugby League Grand Final, the official opening of Stadium Australia and the opening of the Christmas Festival at Royal Albert Hall in London. He also had the honour of performing for Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II at Royal Command performances of The Phantom of the Opera and Les Misérables.
In 2025, Michael played the role of Max Von Mayerling in Sunset Boulevard in China and Taiwan.
Mary McCorry
Betty Schaefer
Mary is a passionate performer hailing from Sydney. She trained at the Victorian College of the Arts (BFA Music Theatre) as a recipient of the Nancye Hayes Scholarship, and holds a Diploma of Musical Theatre (Honours) from Brent Street. Her recent credits include: Linda Mason in Holiday Inn (Hayes Theatre Co, Riverside Parramatta), and Linda Twist in Round the Twist (RGM Productions).
In 2024, Mary made her professional debut in Sunset Boulevard (Opera Australia, GWB Entertainment & The Really Useful Group Ltd) as Betty Schaefer U/S. She is honoured to be visiting Japan and returning to the production in the role of Betty Schaefer.
In 2021, Mary was the proud recipient of the Ron and Margaret Dobell Foundation Music Theatre Award, supporting her career in music theatre. Later this year, Mary will join Opera Australia’s 70th anniversary production of My Fair Lady as U/S Eliza.
